Pre-ordered Luma after first reading about the product. Was originally very easy to install my 3-pack Lumas, but was lacking advanced networking and other config settings. Latest update added all the stuff I was looking for. Shows they are committed to continuing to make Luma better and better. Overall, wifi is perfect and fast throughout the house. Love it.

It was super easy to setup the Luma Surround Wifi in my home. I previously had a plain wireless router and a range extender to try to reach the other end of my home, but we were having issues. So I knew I needed a mesh wifi system and the price and reviews of Luma persuaded me to make the dive. The Luma app makes it very easy to put devices on your network into groups that can then be restricted like kids' devices. I also like that it can detect and block malware websites. As an IT professional, I wish it had a little more insight into what is going on in the background with the nodes but it is working so well that I am getting past that.

It's just ok. If you expect top wifi performance with fast speed look at other products. I had Luma for a while now and considering switching to other system due to slow speeds and spotty performance. Tried different configs but performance is still lucking. Wired speed is close to my providers specs ( I have 1gb line down/up) but wifi is always just above 50mb at most. It works for everyday tasks but dont expect streaming 4K videos reliably on it. Overall overpriced product with subpar performance.

The Luma is a special product. I had it replace TP-LINK Archer C7 AC1750. I am truly pleased with my decision.
A few notes:
- the great design of the product makes it look like art in my office
- my wife often complains about the internet from my iphone i can now see if its the computer or my router (often the website)
- allows me to reset the guest network without reboot the router
- any questions I had about the product were quickly resolved I am using a super computer (iphone) and now I have a router to go with it. a great contemporary update to the world of routers.

Did a great job extending the range of my Wifi and reducing the intermittent connectivity issues I was having. The app - particularly the parental controls- is buggy and doesn't really work that well. For example, if I have parental controls on, there's no way to access streaming videos. And the only way to allow my kids to access streaming services is to disassociate their devices from their profiles and add them to my own, and then to restart the network. So still some bugs in the app and advanced functionality.
