Straightforward installation; excellent performance Comdet January 10, 2014
This is a great way to upgrade a PC to USB 3.0 capabilities. Installation is very straightforward – basically just plug the card into a PCI slot, install the included drivers, and you’re done.

I installed this on a Dell Optiplex running Win 7 (32 bit). Totally uneventful, which seems to be a rarity these days with PC upgrades. It actually took me longer to untangle the spaghetti nest of cables and connectors attached to my PC than it did to get the card up and running.

According to the specs it supports XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8. There is no support for Mac products at this time.

It has four USB3.0 ports. The port construction is solid, unlike other lower-priced cards I’ve used. Zero wiggling of the port when a cable is attached/removed. It is also downward compatible with USB 2.0 specs – I had no problems using a couple of different USB 2.0 drives on this, in addition to a USB 3.0 drive.

The package included the card itself, a surprisingly well-written, clear install guide, and a variety of power cables to deal with various install options. The drivers come on a full size CD (another plus, since I really hate those mini CDs) and there’s a link in the manual for the manufacturer’s site to get updated drivers.

Absolutely zero complaints about build quality, performance, installation ease, and packaging/documentation. Highly recommend.

Worked great with my MAC Tom March 17, 2014
I have tried 2 other USB 3.0 cards for my MAC Pro and this is the only one that worked perfectly out of the box!

No drivers were needed, just install and boot. Everything worked perfectly in Mavericks 10.9.1 and there was a HUGE speed difference. Also, you did not need ANY external power plugged into the card!

I have uploaded the install video I posted on YouTube under Techdripper

and they work just fine. I have not had any problems Mr T January 23, 2015
I can confirm that the Inateck KT4004 PCIe USB 3.0 card works in my Mac Pro running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. I have two of these cards in my Mac Pro, and they work just fine. I have not had any problems.

A great upgrade for an aging rig Sockpuppet November 3, 2015
This card was precisely what I needed for my 6 year old motherboard. I still have a fast cpu and memory but need the superspeed USB ports for the upcoming Oculus rift. The 802.11C NIC and USB card were immediately recognized in Windows 10, although I had to reboot. Both are now working well. Construction, fit and finish all seem to be top notch as well. I will report back in a couple months and update, but so fat it has exceeded my expectations!
